Don’t miss this important conversation on youth leadership, diplomacy, and building solidarity across borders.

As we continue with the Y20 agenda today we call on our G20 community to reflect on these words:
“Final G20 resolutions should reflect the Y20 final communique, not only to affirm young voices, but to ensure their full participation now and beyond in shaping global policy.” – H.E. Dr. Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka
At #Y20Summit2025, we are committed to ensuring youth voices are not symbolic, but central in driving global change.

Y20 is the official youth engagement group of the G20
The Y20 is the official youth engagement group of the G20, giving young people a direct voice in shaping global policy.
Every year, youth delegates from around the world come together to negotiate a Final Communiqué , a document that reflects young people’s priorities and is handed over to G20 leaders.
That means the ideas debated at the Y20 have the potential to influence decisions on economic growth, climate, social justice, and multilateral reform at the highest level.

Y20 Town Hall session
The Y20 Town Hall session created space for honest dialogue, where delegates reflected on the progress of negotiations, raised pressing concerns, and shared perspectives on how the final Communiqué should represent youth voices from across the globe.

From afternoon into late night, Day 3 of #Y20Summit2025 was defined by intense policy negotiations. Delegates engaged in robust and collaborative debates, working tirelessly to shape the final Communiqué. Their commitment reflects the true spirit of youth leadership and global cooperation.
Today, attention turns to the plenary as the finishing touches are made before the summit’s close.
