University of Johannesburg College of Business and Economics in collaboration with Y20 South Africa 2025, hosted a focused dialogue and workshop on global youth challenges and policy solutions.
In his keynote, Dean Professors Tankiso Moloi reaffirmed the College’s commitment to supporting Y20 with its research efforts and policy engagement. He proposed five strategic priorities for Y20:

- Integrate youth voices in G20 policymaking
- Champion intergovernmental dialogue
- Focus on tangible, implementable outcomes
- Foster global youth leadership
- Advance youth-specific challenges and opportunities.
The programme concluded with a panel moderated by Y20 Co-Chair Moeketsi Koahela, joined by Research Lead Zanele Masoek, who unpacked: “What is the G20? Why Does Y20 Matter?”
